Hi everyone, this is my first blog. As they say a non-writing writer is a monster courting insanity. I dont wanna be insane. So let me just start up by sharing a story that motivates me whenever i feel Weak.
Jake's Dream
This is a story about a guy named Jake. Jake's ambition was to become a wrestler. But the problem was he doesnt have his left hand. Yes he was physically challenged. Albeit that Jake still wanted to learn wrestling. He approached many trainers to teach him wreslting. But no one was ready as he was a physically challenged person. Jake didnt give up and finally he found a master named Rick who was ready to teach wrestling. Even Jake was surprised at first but then having faith in his master, he started pursuing his aim.
The Training
Jake was highly excited about the first day of training. He arrived the gym even before 6 am. Master Rick taught him a single move and told him to practice that all day. Next day Jake arrived to the gym earlier as always. Master Rick told him to practice that single move alone. On the third day, Jake asked his master to teach him another move. But his master refused and told him that move alone. Having faith in his master, Jake practiced that move alone. Everyday goes like that for over an year.
Even after an year, Jake arrived the gym with the same enthusiasm. He saw someone already sitting inside the gym. It was Master Rick holding a piece of paper in his hand. Master Rick told Jake that the day has finally came for him to showcase his talent. Jake was surprised and read the piece of paper. It says that the wrestling tournament was being held to find out the strongest wrestler in the town. Master told him to join the competetion. Jake agreed half heartedly.
The Tournament
The Tournament started. Jake entered the ring. People started teasing him. The crowd shouted at him to step out of the ring. Jake looked at his Master with fear. Master waved at him to keep his cool. His opponent entered the ring. Referee signalled to start the match. The bell rang. To everyone's astonishment the match ended within ten seconds. His opponent was lying on the ground. The referee raised Jake's hand and announced him as the winner. Jake started to win all the matches. No match was lasted more than ten seconds. People started to like Jake. Atlast the final match came. Now Jake has to face the eight times title winner Rocco. Before the match, Jake asked his Master to teach him another move as his opponent was much stronger than the others. But Master Rick told him to practice that single move alone. Jake having complete belief in his Master, entered the ring. The match ended within ten seconds. The Referee announced Jake as the winner and gave him the championship belt.
THE SECRET
Jake gave the belt to his Master. With tears in his eyes he asked him how a physically challenged person like him was able to defeat all the wrestlers. His master told him that not having an arm is a weakness. But in order to escape from the move he taught his opponent must grab his left hand. So his biggest weakness was his biggest Strength now.
